I didn't do much photography in the diploid beds this past summer - many of the interesting seedlings had bloomed the year before so I already had photos (shown in the 2009 posts). However, there were several that caught my eye and they are shown below.
This was taken in the greenhouse this past winter and is a photo of
LAVENDER BLUE BABY X FREQUENT FLIER
Continuing our work with diploid reds, this is rebloom from a cross of
CARIBBEAN WILBUR CAUSEY X MARILYN APPS
Several years ago, we began using Pete Wetzel's LIGHTS OF VALINOR for the great scape - we are now seeing the results and they are promising. The stippled eyezone seedling below is a cross of
LIGHTS OF VALINOR x LAVENDER BLUE BABY.
D10-02...reblooming, nicely budded, patterned lavender from a cross of
MARILYN APPS x ACE UP MY SLEEVE
D08-04 - one of the cleanest, most vibrant colors in the garden, the patterning is consistent, too.
FORSYTH VIVACIOUS X PARTY PINAFORE

D10-02, does this mean "D"an needs "10" divisions "(-0)2" days ago?
