Green
The pictures below were taken during the summer 2008 bloom season. I don't breed for the color 'green' but the seedlings shown below are some the the overall greenest daylilies I've ever seen. Of course, they are really yellow with extended green throats and an overlay of green on the petals. However, the effect when seeing them from a distance is that they are indeed, green. The fact that the effect showed up from 2 separate crosses just reinforced my decision to work with the color. Crosses were made during the past 2 summers between the 2 seedling groups and I'm excited to see the initial blooms in 2010.
